Share a little. Keep control.
Choose when a link stops working.
Set an expiry date, use an optional password and limit the number of file-download URLs that can be issued. A download limit is not a count of album views or unique visitors.
Revoke future access.
Revoking a share prevents new downloads. URLs already issued may still work for up to a minute. Revoking a link cannot remove copies someone has already downloaded.
A device gate for Locked folder.
The mobile app can ask for device authentication before showing Locked folder. This is an app access gate, not end-to-end encryption, and does not change server-side storage encryption.
Share links are sensitive.
Treat a share link like an invitation. Use a password when appropriate, send it through a trusted channel and review active links in Shared.
